Can I waive out of Intermediate Rock?

You can waive out if you can demonstrate mastery of all the materials covered in the class. Know that Intermediate Rock is meant to be preparation for several classes taught by the Technical Climbing School. It is more than simply learning how to top rope and rappel. If you waive out and are found to be unsafe in any of the successive classes you will be asked to quit that class and go back to Basic Climbing and/or Intermediate Rock. For that reason, we recommend taking Basic.

What do I need to know to waive out? If you are blank or rusty on any of the following, you should take Intermediate Rock.
